The National Pensioners’ Day- 2017 to celebrate the unfinished mission of the senior citizens of Western Province will be held today (8th Oct.) at the Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Gampaha.
Senior citizens who are pensioners in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara will attend the event.
The event will be held under the patronage of Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga while ministers, ministry secretaries, District Secretaries of the three districts and Divisional Secretaries will participate.
