The special event on ‘Skills for the Future of Work’ that the Deputy Minister to be participated in will take place on 17th July 2017 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Conference Room No. 3.The Deputy Minister is scheduled to leave for the USA on 14th July.
Coinciding with the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, the 2017 World Youth Skills Day will convene Ministers, UN senior officials, business and youth representatives and the civil society activists and provide an opportunity to share lessons learned and best practices on strategies to address and meet future skills needs, ensuring that young people across the globe seize the employment opportunities provided by the digital economy.
The Deputy Minister is also scheduled to address the ministerial roundtable of the Ministers of Skills Development and Vocational Training of the member states and will participate in as a resource person at an interactive panel discussion. This is considered as a great opportunity received by the youth and the Skills Development and the Vocational Training sector of the country.
