Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senaratna assured that no poisonous elements are included in school text books.
He made these comments at the weekly cabinet briefing held today (14th June) at the Department of Government Information.
Minister Senaratna read out from an ITI report which said that the elements included are not poisonous. He said that various people are trying to set the parents against the government by spreading such rumors.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
