    ‘MORA’ reaches Bangladesh

    The cyclonic storm ‘MORA’ has crossed Bangladesh coast today (30th May) and therefore the possibility of heavy rains and strong winds will reduce by tomorrow, Met. Department said.

    However cloudy skies, windy and showery conditions are expected over the country today, the Department said.


    Very strong winds about 60-70 kmph can be expected over the country (These windy conditions are especially expected over the western slope of the central hills and surrounding sea areas).

     

    Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western and Central provinces and at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces in the afternoon.
