The government has decided to have all liquor stores, meat and fish stalls, casinos, nightclubs and gambling centers closed for the Vesak holiday.
Accordingly, the above-mentioned establishments would be closed from May 7-13.
Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs said a circular has been sent to all the Provincial Chief Secretaries and District Secretariats informing them to implement the decision. (CDN)
