Director General Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Rear Admiral Vasantha Fernando bade farewell to his 35 years of illustrious naval career today (4th May).
Upon calling on the Commander of Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, the outgoing senior officer was accorded with a Guard of Honour in accordance with naval traditions.
Rear Admiral Fernando joined the Sri Lanka Navy in 1982 as an Officer Cadet.
