Returning Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka Florentino Batista called on the Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake on Thursday at the Parliament premises.
At the meeting held at the Office of the Chief Government Whip in Parliament, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the minister for the support extended as the Minister in Charge of Media until the end of his tenure.
Minister appreciated the service rendered by the Ambassador Batista on behalf of the Government of Cuba and also presented a memento to him.
