President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment, has requested to implement the project for preparing the third communication report with the grant assistance provided under Global Environment Facility of the United Nations Development Programme, and to submit the same to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers said minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilaka.
