Office for National Unity and Reconciliation briefed the Diplomat Community yesterday in Colombo, by updating them regarding the reconciliation initiatives by the Government of Sri Lanka.
The heads and representatives of the diplomatic missions were appraised about the work being carried out by ONUR so far and the initiatives planned.
The sessions was chaired by former president Chandrika Kumaratunga, Chairperson of ONUR while other public officials including Esala Weerakoon, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministry secretaries, Director General of ONUR and other distinguished guests were present.
