CRPRC concluded its scheduled sittings island wide by 29th February. This sitting would be a special one for Colombo district.

 
The committee also expects to address the special areas such as Human Rights commission of Sri Lanka, religious leaders, chief ministers of all provinces, and also the organizations and any other public.

According to the committee, it has received 1,672 suggestions from all the districts except Kilinochchi, Badulla, and Ampara. In addtion, 560 e-mails, 507 in written, 111 faxes, 37 via Facebook, and 56 telephone calls were received with suggestions.

The committee sees this situation as a sufficient participation from the public. The final report prepared by the committee will be submitted to the Parliament in April.
