The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) won 4 seats and 2 bonus seats after polling 543,944 votes at the recently concluded parliamentary election.

The names of the members who are slated to be included in the National List will be sent to the Elections Commissioner during the course of he day, the JVP said.

Meanwhile, four candidates were voted in as people’s representatives from the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Hambantota districts at the recently concluded general election.
