Afternoon thundershowers will reduce and morning showers in the South Western part will increase. Maximum temperature of other parts will also increase, the Met Dept. predicts.
Showers will occur at several places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Thundershowers will develop at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2 pm. There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. The Met Dept.requests general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
