He added that he would implement the work on that after the forthcoming Parliamentary Election, paying the consideration on the ideas and suggestions of all political parties, government officials and business community.

The President made these remarks at the 43rd anniversary celebration of Mahanuwara Sinhala Velenda Peramuna (Kandy Sinhala Entrepreneurs’ Front) on last Saturday (Aug. 08).

President Sirisena also pointed out that the Kandy Town which inherited with a wealth of heritage should be developed as a city which showcases the pride of the past and with beauty which attracts tourists. He said he would recognize the issues of the business community and will provide proper solutions as a responsible government.

The President presented awards and gifts to those who made specific contribution for the Kandy Sinhala Entrepreneurs’ Front.
