Rough sea areas from Puttalam to Trinco via KKS

Showers will occur at several places in the sea area off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle. Showers or thundershowers can be expected at a few places in the other sea areas during the afternoon or evening, the Met Dept. forecasts.

The Met Dept. says South westerly winds up to 30-40 kmph may occur and Wind speed can strengthen up to 50 kmph at times.

The sea area extending from Puttalam to Trincomalee via Kankesanthurai and the sea area extending from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 60 kmph at times. The other sea areas around the island will be fairly rough at times.
