Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has taken measures to introduce a pension scheme for the Kegalle and Ratnapura Districts Co-Operative sector employees.
Accordingly, 1693 employees working in the Co-operative sector in the Sabaragamuwa Province were awarded pension rights, at a ceremony held at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Auditorium, recently.
Governor, Sabaragamuwa Province Marshal Perera and Chief Minister of Sabaragamuwa Mahipala Herath were present.
