The Ministry of Mass Media has organized a series of Poson programmes on the theme 'Asi Disi Poson Pelahera 2015' at the Ministry premises at Polhengoda, Colombo 5, on June 3.
The programme includes a dhammadesana by Ven. Galkisse Somananda, the distribution of school equipment and books among students of Polhengoda Mahamathya Vidyalaya and a manioc dansala commencing at 4.00 p.m.
Minister Gayantha Karunatilleke, Deputy Minister Shantha Bandara and Ministry secretary Karunaratne Paranavithana will also participate.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
