The Shippers' Academy Colombo has organised a training program on Sri Lanka Port Authority's latest and revised tariffs on port services.
Chief Manager, Marketing and Business, SLPA, Upul Jayatissa will conduct the program at The Kingsbury on Friday (29) from 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.
The one-day program is targeted at industry stakeholders who work with the port and get involved in the billing process with the SLPA. If there is no proper understanding on how calculations are done on cargo and services, companies may pay unnecessarily for the services rendered by the port.
