The Met Dept. forecasts showers or thundershowers to occur at several places in the sea area around the island during the afternoon or night.
Winds will be Southwesterly or Southeasterly and speed will be 20-40 kmph. However, there can be temporarily localized strong winds during thundershowers, the Met Dept. further states.
Sea area around the island will not be rough, but can become temporarily rough during thundershowers.
