The Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing into serious fraud and malpractices and the misuse of state resources, privileges and power has commenced entertaining complaints. The Commission is inquiring into the serious losses and harm caused to state resources and state revenue from the period 10th January 2010 to 10th January 2015.
Complaints can be lodged with the Commission in Sinhala, English or Tamil Languages. In a statement, the Presidential Commission of Inquiry said that the complaints can be submitted to Block Five of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall at Bauddhaloka Mawatha in Colombo.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
