On the advice of the Agriculture Minister Duminda Dissanayake, the distribution of fertilizer has been undertaken by the main Fertilizer Warehouse in Hunupitiya, 18 Regional Fertilizer Warehouses and 182 Agrarian Service Centres in the island.

The Agricultural Ministry revealed that arrangements have been made to supply Urea, TSP and MOP fertilizer to the farmers and that the standard of the fertilizer and the recommendation of the National Fertilizer Secretariat has come under the full scrutiny of the Minister.
