The conference will be held in the Indonesian capital Jakarta from April 22-24. On April 24, the participating leaders will move to Bandung to attend a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of the Asian-African Conference.
Bandung Conference, is a meeting of Asian and African states—organized by Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan which took place from April 18–24 in 1955, in Bandung, Indonesia.

At the time of its founding in April 1955, representatives from 29 governments of Asian and African nations attended it to discuss peace and the role of the Third World in the Cold War, economic development and decolonisation. It has more than 100 members today.
