Addressing a news conference in Colombo President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gemunu Wijeratne said that facilities are being accorded to reserve buses to cater to the needs of persons travelling in groups and reservations for groups could be done by  logging on to www.lankaprivatebus.com and contacting them over the phone.

During the media briefing he explained on the difficulties of operating buses on the 14. He also pointed out that on 13th April there will be a reduction in the operation of short distance bus services but long distance bus services will operate, .

Special buses will operate from Friday the 10th.
