A Truck with a Mobile LED Panel consists of Sound system, Sound Proof Generator produced by troops of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) was handed over to the Brigadier D.A.P.N. Dematapitiya, Brigade Commander of the Sri Lanka Signals Corps (SLSC) by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake at Army Headquarters on Tuesday (30).
The unit which can be used during open air ceremonies of the Army would help cut down the cost generally incurred for hire of it.
Major General T. Jayasooriya, Colonel Commandant of the SLEME, Lieutenant Colonel K.C Prathapasinghe, Commanding Officer of 11 SLSC, Lieutenant Colonel H.V.A Somaweera and Commanding Officer of the Headquarters Battalion were also present at the occasion. (Army)
