Another step in the programme that places unemployed young men and women in suitable employment enabling them to participate in national development takes place tomorrow (12) at 9.00am at the Welipitiya Provincial Council Premises in Matara.
Though there are ample employment opportunities the placement of youth is erratic and this will be an opportunity for job seekers to meet prospective employers in the private sector. Organizations engaged in job training will also be present which will be an added advantage.
Deeptha Rohana the Human Resource Development Assistant said that this programme is being organized jointly by the Matara District Secretariat and Welipitiya Provincial Council.(NJ/KH)
