Following a request from passengers of 205 route to the Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, a new bus service was launched from Kirindiwela to Colombo recently by the Kirindiwela CTB Dept.
The bus service begins at 6.30 a.m. from Kirindiwela and returns at 4.45 p.m. from Fort in the afternoon.
Manager of Kirindiwela depot Kapila Liyanage said that this bus plies on 205 route from Kirindiwela to Miriswatta and then Colombo - Kandy road from Miriswatta to Fort.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
