The deposit of the Sacred Relics within the dome of the Sandahiru Stupa is scheduled to take place on the 23rd of November. All arrangements are in place to hold this Pinkama amidst the blessings of 5000 members of the Maha Sangha.
The religious motorcade taking in procession the casket of Omniscient Sacred Relics up to Sandahiru Stupa commenced its first leg in the auspicious time at the President's House, Colombo Wednesday (12) morning.
The Sandahiru Seya is being built under the guidance of Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and on a concept of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa .
