Pensioners will receive the increased allowance with their pensions today as the first beneficiaries of the budget proposals.
An interim allowance of Rs.2,500 for all Pensioners was proposed by the 2015 Budget Accordingly 545,000 pensioners will get this additional Rs.2,500 allowance with their pension today. The allocation the government has made for this is 11 billion rupees.(KH)
