Accordingly, it has been scheduled to start the School as a Secondary with 10 parallel classes from grade 6 to grade 13. It is also expected to select, by adopting the same methodology that had been applied to the Mahindodya Technological Laboratory Project, an appropriate Contractor registered in the ICTAD as a grade C1 Contractor and carry out construction activities successfully as per the recommendation of the District Secretary of Ratnapura under the consultation of the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB).
It is expected to complete the construction activities immediately with a higher standard within a short period of three years. Likewise, it has also been scheduled to accomplish all the Architectural and Engineering Designs from the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB).
It has been estimated that approximately Rs. 600 Million will have to be spent on the entire enterprise and it is expected to finalize the entire Enterprise within three years by spending Rs. 200 Million per year respectively.
Accordingly, it has been scheduled to construct a building complex having 5 parallel classes from grade 6 to grade 11 in the year 2014, a fully equipped Laboratory for O/L students, an Aesthetic Subject Unit, Administration building and in addition, A/L Laboratory buildings, water facilities landscaping activities and the protective fence. Further, it is expected to complete the rest of the construction activities of the proposed national school on priority basis during the ensuing years of 2015, 2016 and 2017. (ST/KH)
