The head of the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera. They held cordial discussions on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interests. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.

The Chinese delegation took part in a presentation on “Security Situation of the Sea Channel and Measures to promote Safety of the Sea Channel” made by the Director General Operations of Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro at the Commander of the Navy’s conference room. They were later hosted for a service lunch by the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the NHQ Wardroom. (SLN/KH)
