Arrangements have been made to launch the sixth stage programme at the auspicious times at 10.17 am from the homestead of K.M. Jayaratne of Halmillewa Village in Avulegama Grama Niladhari Division of Wariyapola.

Senior Minister of Consumer Welfare, S.B. Navinna is scheduled to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Kurunegala District Secretary H.M.P. Hitisekera, ministers, parliamentarians, provincial council members of the district and large number of government officials are also expected to attend this event.

Under the project to be launched on Monday, 161,000 model domestic agricultural projects would be commenced in 1610 Grama Niladhari divisions in the Kurunegala District, organizers of the event said. (Special Reporter/HC)
