The Polonnaruwa General Hospital  with the new improvements will get a waiting room with facilities for out-patients,  new quarts for Specialist Medical Officers and Medical Officer.  Also renovations will be carried out to the existing Medical Officers’ quarter.

The im[provements to the Welikanda District Hospital will include construction of waiting room with facilities for out patients.

Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) will carry out the construction work. (ST/KH)
