Accordingly, the public through their private phones could send any complaints via SMS with regard to private bus services to the hotline 071 6550000. The complaints should clearly indicate the registration number of the bus, route no. and the time.
The Ministry through a special system will obtain a hard copy of the SMS and commence investigations into the complaint.
The Private Transport Services Ministry has already commenced several such progrfammes to ensure a qualitative, safe and reliable passenger transport service. (KH)
