After cutting the ribbon to signify the official opening of Tea Factory, Minister Basil Rajapaksa pushed the button to start the production process and watched the packing processes in the production workshop. Global Health Tea Lanka Pvt. Ltd  has set up new processing plants using modern hi-tech technology in order to produce good quality tea . Global Health Tea Lanka Pvt. Ltd’s parent company, SP Growth Pvt Ltd is a Hong Kong based Group specializes in investing in projects related to Health Products and Health Care Services.

The ceremony was also attended by Minister Mahinda Samarasingha, Deputy Ministers Dulip Wijesekara, Weerakumara Dissanayaka, SP Growth Pvt Ltd  Chairman Sumitra Agrawal and Board of Directors, management, staff and other invited guests.(KH)
