Consumers and producers in the remote rural areas will benefit out of this project. In the initial stage 25 weekly fairs would be constructed with funds allocated by the Provincial Council. (ST/KH)

The Wayamba Provincial Council has initiated action to launch a project to construct weekly fairs in Kurunegala and Puttalam districts under the Diriyabima project concept. These weekly fairs will be well designed to suit the public and will be environmentally friendly.
