The fully equipped Mahindodaya Technical laboratory with a mathematics Lab, a language laboratory with 25 computers and a distance learning centre with 40 computers was built under the Government’s programme to develop one thousand schools.

After the opening ceremony, the President exchanged views with the principal, teachers and the staff.

Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody, Minister Bandula Gunawardena, Parliamentarian Sachin Vass Gunawardena, Southern Province Governor Kumari Balasuriya, Chief Minister Shan Wijayalal de Silva and Southern Province Education Minister Chandima Rasaputhra were present at the occasion.
