    MCB Bank opens its doors in Kollupitiya Featured

    The bank marks its two-decade presence with the opening of the new branch in the heart of the commercial city, further strengthening its network in the country.

    Celebrating a presence of 20 years in Sri Lanka, MCB Bank, one of the fastest growing Pakistan-based bank, marks its successful journey this year with the opening of the newest branch in Kollupitiya, as part of the Bank’s strategy to be close to its customers and to serve them with an array of qualitative and efficient banking services.


    With a ceremonially opening of Kollupitiya branch held on the 07th of this Month, the Bank now numbers a total of eight branches and continues to strengthen its presence in the country.  Today, MCB Bank holds the 3rd largest branch network among foreign banks in Sri Lanka.


    The opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Minister of Western Province  Prasanna Ranatunga, The Member of Provincial Council  Pradeep Udugoda, The Secretary to The Ministry of Mass Media & Information Charitha Herath, Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka  Ananda Silva in the presence of The Country General Manager Azfar Nomani, Senior Vice President  Azam Naeem, Business Head  Reza Rahim and other senior officials of MCB Bank.
