The Plastic Surgery Unit of the Bandaranaike Wards Complex of the Colombo National Hospital has been reopened after reconstruction. The opening of the Unit took place under the patronage of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, recently.
The reconstruction work was carried out with contributions made by the Ven. Kelaniye AtthadassiThera and donors.
The National Hospital Director Dr. Anil Jasinghe and Presidential Advisor Thilina Wevelpanawa were among those present on the occasion.
“Sambhavana”, a dhamma book authored by Ven. Kelaniye AtthadassiThera was also presented to the Speaker on the occasion.
