To facilitate the process Department of Pensions is to distribute scanning machines to all 330 divisional secretariats which are the originating points of W&OP pension. The first batches of 160 scanners were distributed recently to Divisional Secretariats of Western, Southern, North Western and North Central provinces at a ceremonial occasion at the Auditorium of Department of Pensions.

Through new facilities and IT framework, it is expected to nullify the paper transfers between the Department and the Divisional Secretaries, which will reduce the stationary cost by millions per year.
