The Finance Ministry has said that the Government has lost an income of 147 billion rupees due to the concessionary vehicle permits. Due to the concessionary vehicle permits from 2012 to this year, the Government has lost a tax income of 147 billion rupees.
The Finance Ministry said that 32,237 vehicles have been imported to the country from 2012 to August this year with the concessionary permits. The Government has earned only a tax income of 63.8 billion rupees from those imported vehicles.
The Finance Ministry said that the budget 2016 has proposed to abolish this concessionary permits and it is already being implemented.
