The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E.the President to facilitate the board as necessary and get active participation of the Women's Council for Digitalization in Information and Communication Technology related women entrepreneurship programs conducted by Government Organizations.

2. Revising the Drug Dependant Persons (Treatment and Rehabilitation)Act , No.54 of 2007

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President to revise the Drug Dependant Persons (Treatment and Rehabilitation)Act , No.54 of 2007 to  suit the present situation.

3. Establishment of  ” Scholarship Fund for Educational Excellence"  Doc 19

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Finance to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft legislations to establish SEE Fund as proposed by the Budget 2019.

4. Taking necessary steps to return the detainers of Mirihana Detention Centre – Doc 22

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon Minister of Internal & Home affairs and Provincial Councils and Local Government to take necessary steps to return the detainers of Mirihana Detention Centre back to their motherlands within a short period of time.

5. Implementation of Meethotamulla Revival Project Doc -27

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Meapolise and Western Development to implement the Implementation of Meethotamulla Revival Project in accordance with the recommendations of the  committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

6. Minimizing crop related problems caused by wild animals Doc- 31

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of  Agriculture, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development to implement the action plan on Mitigation of Crop-related Issues caused by Wild Animals.

7. Regional Workshop on Underutilized Fish and Marine Genetic Resources and their Development in collaboration with Asia Pacific Agriculture and Research Institute  Doc 33

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development to conduct a Regional Workshop on Underutilized Fish and Marine Genetic Resources and their Development in collaboration with Asia Pacific Agriculture and Research Institute from 10th  to 12 July 2019 in Sri Lanka.

8. Construction of Fishery Harbour Gandara ,and allocation of financial provisions. Doc 34

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Finance and Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development to liquidate the procurement process with Bouygues Travaux Publics Company and to construct the Fishery Harbour Gandara using Local Funds.

9. Revising of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act No 02 of 1996, in order to regulate illegal activities    Doc  37

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development to revise the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act No 02 of 1996 to punish the owner of the boat, operator of the boat,  captain of the boat,  Passengers of the boat or persons who support the illegal action.

10. Recommendations for Additional Amendments to Construction Industries Act No 33 of 2014   Doc 42

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Housing, Constructions and Cultural Affairs to amend the  Construction Industries Act No 33 of 2014   Doc 42 in accordance with the draft prepared by the Legal Draftsman  and  inserting the Amendments proposed by industry bodies as appropriate for Preventing irregularities and underperformance.

11. Establishment of a Prison Intelligence Unit with legal framework under the Prison Ordinance Doc 47

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms to  set up a Prison Intelligence Unit  under the general powers and control of the Commissioner of Prisons under the Prisons Ordinance.

12. Convention on International Dispute Resolution Agreements resulting from Mediation  Doc 49

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms to sign the Convention on International Dispute Resolution Agreements resulting from Mediation, on behalf of Sri Lanka.

13. Memorandum of Understanding between National Social Development Institute and University of Leuven- Limburg  in Belgium  (UCLL )  Doc  50

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Primary Industries and Social Empowerment to  enter into Memorandum of Understanding between National Social Development Institute and the University of Leuven- Limburg  in Belgium (UCLL) with the intention of Obtaining Professional Specialization.

14. Procurement Process to Obtain the services for conducting a forensic audit / review of selected institutions regulated and supervised by the Central Bank Doc  53

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Finance to revise the relevant cost estimate and call for bids to select the appropriate agency for the proposed work and to seek the services of the Advisory Procurement Committee appointed previously.

15. Contract for Supply, Distribute, installation and functioning of 3 Transformers for Grid Substation Kotugoda Doc  57

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development to award this contract to M/s TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co. Ltd. for USD  2.6 million and USD 2.5 million.

16. Consultancy Services Contract of Western Provence (PIC 07) Project  in the Second Integrated Road Investment Program funded by the Asian Development Bank   Doc 66

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon Minister of Highways and Road Development and Petroleum Resourced Development to  award this contract to M/s SMEC international Pvt Ltd. (Australia), Sub Consusltant with Resources Development  Consultants (PVt)Ltd (Sri LankaO and Master Hellie's Engineering Consultants (Pvt) Ltd.

17. Mid Year Financial Statement 2019 Doc 71

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Minister of Finance to present the Mid Year Financial Statement 2019 to the parliament in accordance with the regulations of Fiscal Management (Regulatory) Act No 03 of 2003.

18. Revitalization of the tourism sector 2019   Doc 72

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies,  Economic Affairs, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs to  Advise the Sri Lankan Airlines to reduce fees on airline services such as fuel and lubricants, ground operations  etc. in order to attract aircraft to the country.  Advise Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) to bring down the price of fuel as similar to the fuel prices at Chennai airport. And to suspend the implementation of Budget Proposal to increase the Embarkation Levy by 10 USD.
