    1. Implementation of National Drug Prevention Program “A country free of Intoxicants”   (Document No.05)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, to appoint an advisory committee to carry out this program expeditiously until the establishment of authority according to cabinet approval.

    1. Implementation of a Special Program to empower elderly community and Disabled persons. (Document No.06)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, to secure funds to implement this program by presidential secretariat  with assistance and coordination of all other parties as an Integrated approach.

    1. "Shilpa Sena Exhibition " Revolution of the Technology in Sri Lanka (Document No.07)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena upon the request of Non Cabinet Minister of Science, Technology and Research to conduct "Shilpa Sena Exhibition" simultaneously the exhibitions and programs of different organizations owned by the Government and  Private Sector. 

    1. Orders to pay Author Share to Songwriters or Musicians  (Document No.08)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, upon the request of Non Cabinet Minister of Science, Technology and Research to gazette the orders drafted by legal draftsman, present for the parliamentary approval.

    1. Strengthen the Economy through the development of Mechanical Electronic Field (Document No 11)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, upon the request of Non Cabinet Minister of Science, Technology and Research to  implement "Enterprise Sri Lanka" program and Standard Training, Prototyping, and Research Facility using financial allocations provided under Non Cabinet  Ministry of Science Technology and Research.

    1. Introducing new safe small bridges improve Transport Facilities in remote areas. (Document No. 12)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, upon the request of Non Cabinet Minister of Science, Technology and Research to  implement a program to construct 1000 bridges securing funds through 2020-2222 Medium-term budgetary framework.

    1. Legalize the OSLO Convention, the International Convention on Cluster Munitions, in Sri Lanka.  (Document No.20)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence to draft bills to legalize OSLO Convention in Sri Lanka.

    1. Improve facilities in the Institute of Peace Support Operations training Institute in Sri Lanka. (Document No.21)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by H.E. the President, Maithreepala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence to improve facilities of the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Institute in Sri Lanka under Rs. 811.71 million investment.

    1. Recruitment of 7,500 Trained Project Assistants . (Document No.28)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe, Minister of  National Policies, Economic Affairs,  Resettlements and Rehabilitation, Nortern Provice Development, Vocational Training and Skills Development and Youth Affairs to appoint 7500 Trained Project Assistants  under one year Contract Basis  and to pay  them an allowance of Rs. 15,000  per month.

    1. Appointing members of Wildlife Advisory Committee in terms of Fauna and Flora protection Ordinance (Document No.32)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. John Amaratunga, Minister of Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious affairs to appoint an advisory committee under section 70)(1) of the Fauna and Flora Ordinance consist of experts in said fields to advise the Minister.

    1. National Vesak Festival in 2563rd year of Buddhist Era . (Document No.33)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon.Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, Minister of Buddhasasana and Wayamba Development, to conduct National Vesak Festival 2019 at Thelwatta Thotagamu Purana Rathpath Maha Viharaya, Hikkaduwa in the Galle District , to declare the National Vesak Week from 15th to 21st May 2019 and to conduct other associated programs simultaneously.

    1. Revisions of Monetary Law Act No58of 1949. (Document No.37)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Mass Media to restore revised Monetary Law repealing the existing Monitory law No 58 of 1949.

    1. Additional Renovations to be done with respect to seven story building complex in District General Hospital Negombo . (Document No.40)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Dr. Rajitha Senarathne, Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine to revise  the Rs. 500 million Total Cost Estimate of the above project as Rs.692.43 million to meet  the additional renovations requested by Hospital Authority.

    1. .Construction of 100 MW Floating Sola Power Station in Maduruoya Reservoir (Document No.45)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by H.E. the President Mithreepala Sirisena in his capacity as the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment and Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development,  to establish a joint venture with Canadian Solar Institute to implement this project as proposed by the Government of Canada. And to appoint a steering committee to negotiate these activities.  

    1. Supply of Fresh Drinking water for people who live in districts affected by Chronic Kidney Disease . (Document No.57)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education and Hon. Sajith Premadasa, Minister of Housing, Constructions and Cultural Affairs to implement this project using the funds allocated for National Housing Program.

    1. The National Policy on Early Childhood Care and Development (Document No.59)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Chandrani Bandara, Minister of Women and Child Affairs to implement the National Policy on Early Childhood Care and Development updated in accordance with the instructions given by the cabinet of Ministers.

    1. Completing construction works remaining in New Courts Complex, Matara. (Document No. 60)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Thalatha Athukorala, Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms to secure funds to complete the constructions of New Courts Complex Matara, with further improvements.

    1. Enhancing Courts Facilities. (Document No.61)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon.Thalatha Athukorala, Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms to carry out development activities with an investment of Rs.592.86 million, within the 2020-2022 Medium Term Budgetary Framework.  (Building the District Magistrate Building Walapane, Expansion of Mobile Courts Building Narammala, Construction of Mobile Courts Buildings at Wakare and Thelgoda, Construction of Record rooms and Production Rooms of District Court Akkareipattu and Pothuwil and Magistrate Court Kuliyapitiya.).

    1. Set up Education Supervision Service Centres. (Document No.62)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Akila Wiraj Kariyawasam, Minister of Education to establish an institute as "Education Supervision Service Centre" and its provincial and sub offices. And to establish a Independent Education Accreditation Board to provide recommendations examining the facts revealed.

    1. Conducting the third session of Asia-Europe Meeting, in Sri Lanka. (Document No.68)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by Hon. Thilak Marapana, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hon. Daya Gamage, Minister of Primary Industries and Social Empowerment to host this meeting which is  to be conducted in Sri Lanka from 05 th to 08 th April 2019.

    1. A Forensic Auditing with respect to establishments regulated and supervised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. . (Document No.73)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Mass Media to get the service of internationally experienced institution to conduct forensic auditing in accordance with the recommendations in report of Presidential Commission.

    1. Implementing the Second phase of Anuradhapura South Combined Water Supply Project. (Document No.74)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of City Planning, Water supply and Higher Eudcation to appoint a procurement committee to conduct relevant assessments of this project.

    1. Contract to supply and distribute 1500 km Aerial Bundle Conductor for the Ceylon Electricity Board. (Document No.75)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal  presented by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development to award this contract to Sierra Cables Ltd. upon the recommendation of cabinet appointed procurement Committee.

    1. Rehabilitation and Improvement of road from Jaffna –Ponnalai- Point Peduru (AB21) Road from Jaffna to Ponnalai (Document No.79)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Megapolis and Western Development to award this contract to Sierra Constructions Company upon the recommendation of cabinet appointed standing procurement Committee.

    1. Activating Currency Exchange Counters at departure walkway of the Katunayake International Airport . (Document No.81)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by the Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, Minister of  Transport and Civil Aviation to award this contract to Sampath Bank, Thomak Cook Lanka Pvt Ltd, Commercial Bank and Hatton National Bank.

    1. Establishment of Cold Storage Facility at departure terminal building in Katunayake International Airport. (Document No.82)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, Minister of  Transport and Civil Aviation to award this contract to M/s Softologic Retail Pvt. Ltd.

    1. Purchase of Medicinal Injections to treat Kidney Patients. (Document No.89)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Dr.Rajitha Senarathne Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous  Medicine to purchase 850,000 Epogen Injections from M/s Reliance Science for USD 918,000.

    1. Purchase Medicinal Injections to treat Cardiac Patients. (Document No.90)

    The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Dr.Rajitha Senarathne Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous  Medicine to award the procurement of purchasing  690,000 Enoxaparin Sodium injections to M/s Shenzhen Techdow Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd for Rs. USD 1.82 million.
