In response to this need and with the objective of cultivating a love of reading in the society, “Readers are Great Winners” (Kiyawanno Dinanno) a national competition is being organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Productivity Secretariat.

 

 

The goal of this competition is to cultivate a love for reading, which is disappearing from the people at present.

 

 

The deadline for acceptance of the application has been further extended till November 23.

 

 

The events of the competition are as follows:-

 

Grade 5,6

Grade 7,8

Grade 9, 10, 11

Grade 12, 13

School teachers category

University (undergraduate) category

Open category

 

 

The term "school category"  denotes all government schools, Pirivenas, Private schools and International schools. "Teachers" denotes all the teachers employed in the above schools and Pirivenas. Open category denotes any individual excluded from school teacher category and university (undergraduate) category.
