However, from next year onwards, one student each will be reduced every year and by 2021, the maximum number of students in a classroom will be limited to 35 .

Limiting the number of students to 35 will be consistent with a court determination.

A spokesman for the Education Ministry said that the Cabinet approval had been received to keep 40 students in a class room next year. He said that reducing the number of students immediately to 35 will create complications and thus the government had decided to do this during a five year span to avoid any difficulties.
