Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to Trincomalee via Kankasanturai and Mullativu and in the sea areas off the coast extending from Negombo to Matara via Galle.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the other sea areas around the island after 4.00 pm.
Winds will be Southwesterly and speed will be 30-40 kmph. Sea areas around the island will be fairly rough.
The sea area extending from Puttalam to Kankasanturai via Mannar and Matara to Batticaloa via Hambantota will be rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 60 kmph at times.
The sea areas may be temporary very rough during thundershowers.
