Interviews, meant to select the beneficiaries, held at 572 Brigade Headquarters, 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment camp and 14 Sri Lanka National Guard camp in Kilinochchi attracted 163 applicants for the initial rounds. Of them, 98 males and 20 females were found qualified to take up jobs, offered by the said company. Representatives of the MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd who conducted the interviews assured them of job opportunities in future after communicating directly with selected applicants.

With the blessings of Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN), 57 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), commanded by Major General Vijitha Ravipriya has launched the project to help the under privileged Kilinochchi people as one more community-oriented project of the Army.
